RAYMOND TERRACE TAKES OUT GRADE ONE PENNANT

They won their first Grade One Pennant in 2012 and today the Raymond Terrace Jets claimed the title again, beating Soldiers Point in the Newcastle District final at Lambton Bowling Club.
With Australian representative Mathew Baus leading the charge, the Terrace skipped away to a 12-7 lead after 10 ends.
Soldiers Point’s Terry Antram answered the challenge, helping to get his side back to within one point, down 35-34 midway through the decider.
But with the Jets Jason Stokes leading his quartet to a 21-18 victory over Jason Pietraszek’s men, the Grade One Pennant was heading back to Raymond Terrace.
