BUDGET BREAKDOWN: FROM THE CENTRAL COAST TO TWEED HEADS
ROADS
– $395 million for 2014-15 for upgrades to the Pacific Highway between Hexham and the Queensland border.
SCHOOLS
– Upgrades to Moree East Public School, Hunter Sports High, Narrabri Public School and Tamworth TAFE.
NORTH COAST
– $59.9 million in upgrades to Kempsey and Lismore hospitals.
– Funds for the construction of a new Byron Central Hospital.
– $80 million for Lismore Hospital Redevelopment.
– $81 million dollars for the Kempsey Hospital redevelopment.
– $23.9 million to complete the court complex at the Coffs Harbour Justice Precinct.
– $3.4 million for a new fire station at Port Macquarie.
– $104 million Port Macquarie Hospital expansion.
– $177 million for construction of second crossing at Clarence River at Grafton.
HUNTER REGION
– $8.9 million for a paedatric intensive care unit at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
– $43 million for roads.
– $49 million for construction of Newcastle Justice precinct
-$1.4 million for a new firestation at Rutherford.
– Funding for the continued planning of the new Maitland Hospital.
CENTRAL COAST
– $70 million for road upgrades.
– $2.8 billion for the Next Generation inner city train network.
– New classrooms for Point Clare public school.
NORTH WEST
-$85 million for Tamworth Hospital redevelopment.
