TONY DREW WITH BIG SHOES TO FILL AT NEWCASTLE HARNESS CLUB

Former Wyong Race Club CEO Tony Drew has been chosen to replace the late Ross Gigg, as the General Manager of Newcastle Harness Racing.
“It’s so sad, I have got enormous shoes to fill and I hope I can do him justice.”
Mr Drew starts his new role in July – he believes one of his greatest challenges will be increasing spectator numbers.
“It’s so easy to stay off course now and have a little punt and watch it on tv, to get people back to the course, it’s exciting and being on course there’s nothing better.”
