Tamworth will host the 2015 Country Women’s Association’s Annual Conference.
More than a thousand members from across the state are expected to attend the five-day event, which will be held at the TRECC.
Local council along with the Wanthella Group of the CWA lobbied to have the event brought to town.
Tamworth was announced as the 93rd host at the organisation’s recent conference in Griffith.
