JETS STARTING 11 UP IN THE AIR FOR GOLD COAST CLASH

Jets coach Gary Van Egmond is playing his cards close to his chest ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Gold Coast, but don’t be surprised if he makes some big line-up changes.
At today’s final session, several players were out of position, including Ruben Zadkovich.
“I think Ruben has got massive potential as a right fullback … he’s got the talent and the mentality.”
Meanwhile, Australian Joeys captain Connor Chapman has trained for the first time since signing with the Jets last month.
Van Egmond coached the 17-year-old central defender at the AIS, and believes Chapman has the skills to play his possession-based game.
“First six months he’ll ease me in but if there’s an opportunity then why not?”
