Police are investigating an incident in Newcastle on Sunday morning, where a man in a car approached two children playing in a front yard.
A 16-year-old girl and seven year old boy were playing in their home in Mayfield when a man in a maroon coloured sedan pulled up and asked the girl to come over to the car.
The girl refused and the man eventually drove away.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 60 to 70 years of age with slick back short white/grey hair.
