WEATHER UPDATE: A LITTLE RAIN RELIEF

High level cloud is increasing across the region ahead of a small rain event. Coastal showers have begun to move in and they will continue.

Over the next 48 hours the cloud cover will thicken and patchy light rain will begin to fall across the region including the NW. Totals will not be big but the rain will be widespread. The rain band will clear by Thursday and more cold dry air will move in behind the front dropping temperatures at the end of the week.
