NORTHERN TABLELANDS MP FINED $2000 AND HAS LICENSE SUSPENDED FOR NINE MONTHS

Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall has had his license suspended for nine months and fined $2000- after pleading guilty to mid-range drink driving in Glen Innes Local Court today.

Last month Mr Marshall returned a positive road side breath test, when he was pulled over by police in Glen Innes.

He was then taken to the local police station where he provided a blood alcohol reading of 0.112.

Mr Marshall subsequently resigned as Assistant Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Deputy Chair of the State and Regional Development Committee.
