Traffic movements at Coledale are expected to increase when Cole Road North opens tomorrow morning.
It will join with Gunnedah Road at a new two-lane roundabout.
Tamworth Regional Council says it will be a major change for the neighbourhood, and residents are being urged to be aware of increased vehicle numbers.
The new road will open at 10am.
