MANNING SENIORS GIFTED WITH CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Over 1000 Myall Lakes seniors tapped their toes to Christmas carols this week in the first of five regional concerts hosted by the state government.
A number of well known performers including Darren Coggan, Peter Cousens and even his daughter Daisy took to the stage.
The concert, held at the Manning Entertainment Centre was free to any senior as a Christmas gift.
“Not just to thank our seniors but to encourage them to get out of their homes and into their community and continue to live active and healthy lives,” said Tanya Davies, NSW Minister for Ageing.
The concert will also stop in at Port Macquarie, Grafton and Queanbeyan.
