A 50-year-old man has been charged with aggravated break and enter following a home invasion at Lake Macquarie yesterday.
Just after 1pm, the man allegedly entered a home at Bonnells Bay and hit a 55-year-old man over the head with an object.
The pair struggled before the intruder ran from the house.
The resident was taken to hospital and required four stitches to his head.
The accused is due to face Toronto Local Court today.
