The Save Our Rail group is continuing its fight against the state government’s decision to truncate heavy rail in Newcastle from Boxing Day.
More than 100 people marched through the streets of Maitland this morning, in protest of the changes.
The group made a stop at local MP Robyn Parker’s office to deliver a petition with more than 1,000 signatures.
