Novocastrian Motorsport’s Aaren Russell has graced the podium for the first time in the V8 development series.
Having finished second in race one at Ipswich, Russell survived more carnage in race two, battling his way into the top 10.
He eventually finished in eighth spot, earning enough points to grab third overall and his first taste of a champagne celebration.
