CAR NARROWLY MISSES FAMIL AS L-PLATER PLOUGHS INTO PACIFIC PINES SHOPFRONT
A relaxing coffee ended in chaos when a car ploughed into the Zarraffas outdoor seating area at Pacific Pines yesterday morning.
A 16 year old learner driver was behind the wheel, her 16 year old friend in the passenger seat.
Witnesses say, a family with two young children managed to leap out of the way just in time.
“It was certainly lucky circumstances no one was injured. It was a busy shop front and there was a lot of foot traffic.”
The young girl’s accused of not being accompanied by a licenced driver, and failing to display L – plates.
