DANGEROUS DRIVING P-PLATER’S LICENSE REINSTATED

A P-plater… who allegedly forced police to jump for their lives.. had just been given his licence back.

Police claim- while trying to escape officers- 23 year old Luke Charlton ploughed into this taxi, injuring its driver and elderly passengers.

The defendant claims he freaked out when he saw four men approach his car, fearing they meant to harm him.

“when he got scared or spooked by four large individuals who happened to be police officers he drove off”

He surrendered to police the next day, but with a prior conviction for dangerous driving, was refused bail and remanded in custody.

He’ll return to court in September.
