WAKE UP JEFF! Just resign & leave our town politely, before things get ugly. You really think our town & valley with thank you. You have sullied the seat of Mayor & undermined our faith & trust in the political system. Locally State & im sure you love being well connected Federally to. But your personal agenda will cost us all now very dearly. People have lost genuine employment opportunities with the port rort. There is no new transport plan- NCC policies & projects will be argued about & torn apart- Rightly so – people will have to question everything in detail. You know your constituents are genuinely very concerned about pollution levels & exposure to carcinogens. As you will see- health becomes everyone’s priority. I believe the majority now have no faith in you. You have lost the communities trust, you have lost credibility & any integrity you may have once had. A decent person would realise you can’t govern without the respect of constituents . Do the right thing Jeff . Leave- enjoy your grandchild & property projects elsewhere. When I think of you being privy to the public purse I worry about proper accountability & your motivation. When I think of you presiding over our civic functions- for eg Anzac ceremonies- I genuinely feel very ill. Show remorse please. Apologies & leave. You knew full well your actions were dishonest . You shall from now on be known as disgraced Mayor Jeff McCloy- However it should never have been all about YOU ! Sadly you will remain a focus for all the wrong reasons up until you resign from the position.
