WEATHER UPDATE: RAIN FINALLY ON THE WAY

The best rain in at least four months is on the way. The coastal showers along with the cold southerly winds and cloudy skies will continue all week.

The moist onshore winds are going to help feed a deepening trough over western QLD. This system will form into a low and dump widespread rain across the region in the NW over the weekend. Falls should be solid.
