The Newcastle Jets have released midfielder Mitch Oxborrow.
The teenager is set to return to Perth to attend to personal matters and be with his family.
In another blow, the club has also confirmed that Josh Barresi has a torn ACL.
The midfielder will require a knee reconstruction that will rule him out for the entire A-League season.
