NORFOLK ISLAND BACKFLIPS ON LICENSE TO TRIAL MEDICINAL CANNABIS

The campaign to legalise medicinal cannabis has been hit with a set back.
The Norfolk Island government’s approval for a company to start producing the drug has been overturned.
Tasmanian-based Tasman Health Cannabinoids was granted a license on August 1, but a lack of information forced the reversal of the decision.
Tamworth’s Lucy Haslam, who’s been fighting for the drug’s legalisation, says it won’t impact the campaign in New South Wales at this stage.
