CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY AS FUN DAY RAISES HUNDREDS FOR HOMELESS
Forget Christmas in July, Tallebudgera 17-year-old Nathaniel Leigh today brought families together for a little bit of Christmas spirit in August.
The family fun day was a fundraiser for a special Christmas lunch for the coast’s homeless and lonely.
An initiative the charitable youth started when he was just 14.
“We do it every year at Kirra Sports Club, and we have about 100 people in attendance.”
“It brings smiles to their faces on Christmas Eve.”
So far, Nathaniel’s raised almost a thousand dollars for the event.
