Police are appealing for information after a home in East Tamworth was broken into and ransacked overnight.
They were called to the Levien Avenue home just after 12.30 this morning after reports a sum of cash and car had been stolen.
The home owner’s Mazda sedan was taken and later destroyed by fire near the brick works at Coledale.
It’s believed the offenders came in through an unlocked rear sliding door.
