MAN SAVES CHILDREN FROM BURNING HOME

A Central Coast man has been hailed a hero, after he helped rescue three children from a burning home this morning.

Shane Craig was staying at his girlfriend’s parent’s house – when the adjoining duplex at Kanwal caught on fire.

He was forced to break a window, to save two six year old boys and a four year old girl who had locked herself in a cupboard.

He also helped the children’s father to safety while neighbours worked to put out the flames with hoses.

Police are investigating.
