Six-lifesavers from Pacific Palms have been presented with the National Rescue of the Month award in Canberra, after they saved two-fishermen who had been washed into water at Seal Rocks in May.
Lennon Fisher battled rough seas to pull one man from the water onto a jetski.
While the Westpac chopper winched another man, who was stuck on the rocks, to safety.
John Gray, Kel McCredie, Brian Wilcox, Julie Wilcox and Ben Atkinson also played an integral supporting role in the rescue.
They’ve previously been recognised with a state award.
