WEATHER UPDATE: MONSTER SWELL

Another day of huge waves along the NSW coast, driving north into southern QLD. That’s on the way thanks to a powerful east coast low causing strong southerly winds.

This latest blast caused snow to fall across the Northern Ranges around Tamworth, Bendemeer, Nundle and the Barrington Tops which received 15-centimetres.

The strong winds on the coast will ease, but the monster swell will continue slowly easing in the coming days.

Fine and sunny across the NW, north coast and SE QLD after a chilly start.
