Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall says Moree District Hospital could be in line to get a much-needed upgrade.
Mr Marshall says the hospital is showing signs of age, and there’s a growing demand for certain services like chemotherapy.
Before funding can be allocated, a clinical services plan need to be completed – that’s expected to take up to five months.

I am pleased that Moree is getting a much needed upgraded and very thankful for all the hard working staff there as well. I have two suggestions.
(1) The hospital ‘looks’ unclean, not saying is.
(2)With the upgrades is it possible to give the c/t and ultrasound department be given a bigger space, not only for the staff working conditions and seeing the reception squashed in what looks like a cupboard. The patients don’t have space to sit and also privacy issues are being heard because of the close proximity of everyone .
