– Two people have been taken to hospital after a lightning strike at a Catholic college in Sydney’s west. Some have damaged hearing after the loud crack. Thunderstorms are forecast across the state today.
– The search for missing three-year-old William Tyrell, is now in its fifth day. The young boy disappeared from the backyard of his grandmother’s home at Kendall on the New South Wales mid-north coast on Friday.
– Wild weather is lashing the American-Mexican border causing mass evacuations, across the region. A powerful hurricane has pummelled Mexico’s Ba-har Peninsular, and is now heading towards the U.S.
– And nearly 100 years since the landings at Gallipoli – a team of Australian archaeologists has found 14km of new trenches, and thousands of artefacts shedding more light on one of Australia’s greatest military stories.
