POLICE LAUNCH ANTI-SOCIAL OPERATION
More than a dozen officers will target holiday hot-spots across the Central Coast, in a bid to crack-down on alcohol-fuelled violence.
Police have launched Operation Saber 2, which involves extra patrols of popular drinking spots over the summer months.
Brisbane Water Superintendent, Daniel Sullivan, says police will be taking a no-nonsense approach to anti-social behaviour.
It’s the second time the operation has been run.
Last year 266 arrests were made, and police laid 340 charges.
