Support for a medical marijuana convention in Tamworth is gaining momentum after New South Wales Premier Mike Baird confirmed he’ll officially open the event.
To be held at TRECC on November 21 and 22 – it will be the largest convention of its kind to ever be held in the country.
Co-funded by the state government, a number of international experts have been confirmed for the event.
The convention was initiated by Lucy Haslam in her push to legalise medicinal cannabis – after her son Dan was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2010.
