A Wauchope business has taken out gold, silver and bronze medals at the prestigious Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards.
East Coast Gourmet Foods won a gold medal for its Mango Lime and Chilli Chutney.
It’s the first time owners Rebecca and Chris Kirkman have entered the competition, and say it’s given them the confidence to expand.
“At the moment we’re only supplying our products to the local market here in Port Macquarie and the mid north coast so it’ll give us the confidence to branch out a little bit more.”
The popular Drunken Caramelised Onions relish took out the silver medal, while the Cranberry and Pear Chutney won bronze.
