A 60-year-old man injured while walking through Lamington National Park late yesterday has been rescued, during a delicate operation.
The man leg became wedged, when he slipped and fell on rocks.
SES volunteers and the park ranger had to walk through rugged terrain to reach him.
They were met by an RACQ Careflight paramedic and doctor.
The injured man was airlifted to University Hospital, suffering a suspected fractured leg.
