A three-year-old boy has had to undergo emergency surgery, after running over himself with a car at Coraki.
Police believe the boy was playing in the vehicle, which was parked on Donaldson Street, when he put it in neutral.
It began moving and the boy jumped out, only to be hit by the car before it slammed into the front of a neighbour’s house.
The neighbour and her two young granddaughters inside the home weren’t injured, while the boy is recovering in Lismore Base Hospital with a fractured leg and ribs.
