Jets coach Phil Stubbins has rejected suggestions Jonny Steele would have made a difference in the loss to Wellington, saying his side simply didn’t click.
“Got caught with our pants down a little bit there, conceding early was a setback for us, then we opened up and tried to play a bit expansive and Wellington to their credit found us out with a second goal which was a hard one for us to take.”
