A lack of modern facilities at Newcastle’s Number One Sportsground has cost Hunter sports fans again, with the region overlooked for a Sydney Swans pre-season match.
The Swans released their schedule today, and while Coffs Harbour is set to host a clash between Sydney and Brisbane on March 6, Newcastle missed out.
Canberra and Western Sydney will also host pre-season games.
