AIDAN RAYMONT TAKES OUT MODIFIED SEDAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Gympie’s Aidan Raymont has taken out the New South Wales Modified Production Sedan Championship during an action packed night at Lismore Speedway at the weekend.

Raymont took the lead from the start and was never seriously challenged during the 35-lap final.

Other racers had back luck, like Gerry Flood who blew a tyre and broke his front suspension.

While local star Greg Worling and South Burnett’s Gavin Fletcher battled for the minor placings, swapping positions right to the finish.

“Yeah that was unbelievable, what a hard race, I’m absolutely spent, I actually had to slow down a bit cause I was so tired”.

The next speedway meet is set for March three.
