If you’ve been past Newcastle’s Civic Park this week, you’ve probably wondered what this is all about.
It’s one of dozens of locations for the city’s inaugural ‘New Annual’ festival, a million-dollar event featuring more than 100 local performers over 10 days.
“I think that this will definitely be a way forward, obviously there’s restrictions with large numbers, and everything, so it does feel like this is a good model to start up now, and I do think it will continue to be this way.” – Zackari Watt, event organiser.
The festival begins on Friday.
