Three people have been charged following a home invasion at Casino early this morning.
A 25-year-old woman and her 24-year-old boyfriend were in the bedroom of an Adam Street home, when they were allegedly threatened by two young men and a woman, armed with a machete and knife.
It’s alleged the woman’s mobile phone was stolen and she was assaulted when she asked that it be returned.
The trio fled with a number of items in a grey-coloured Mitsubishi Magna.
A short time later, police stopped the car traveling south along Summerland Way towards Grafton.
An 18-year-old man and 22-year-old man have been charged with aggravated break and enter and armed with intent, while a 20-year-old woman is a facing a string of charges including aggravated break and enter and common assault.
The group will appear before Lismore Local Court on December 16.
