With just seven days until Newcastle’s Lord Mayoral by-election today, Greens’ councillor Therese Doyle launched her campaign for the top job.
Ms Doyle says finding a solution for floodplain management in Wallsend will be one of her top priorities if elected.
“I will be listening to and very much heed to the needs of the people all over Newcastle, particularly looking at the commercial centres that don’t get as much attention as they should.”
