Despite a stellar day in the surf, Lennox Head’s Adam Melling has had to settle for fourth in the Hawaiian Reef Pro Final.
In fine form Melling worked his way through the quarter final round claiming a top score of 17.2.
In the Semi’s he went one better, topping the score board at 17.40 to earn his way into the final.
Up against Julian Wilson, Dusty Payne and Jeremy Flores, Melling was out of his depth, struggling to pull out a big score.
