Police have appealed for witnesses to an incident on the Pacific Highway last night where a woman died after being hit by a car and truck.
She was crossing the highway about 500 metres north of the Masonite Road intersection at Heatherbrae when she was struck about 10.30.
Both northbound lanes of the highway were closed as traffic police investigated the death.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
