Police have formally identified a woman after her body was discovered in Gunnedah yesterday.
25-year-old Rebecca Perkins was found in a room of the Overlander Motel on Conadilly Street, just after 9am.
Homicide detectives arrived last night and Strike Force Neweena has been established to investigate her death.
