Taree City Councillors have appointed a new General Manager.
The former Executive Leader of Service Delivery – Ron Posselt, beat a field of candidates from across the country, to sign on the dotted line today.
He says he’ll be focusing his efforts over the next few years on trying to improve council services.
“We need to have a conversation with the community, which is an honest conversation which decides what we do with their dollars that they give us, we are custodians of public money and it’s important that what we do is in agreement with what the community wants.”
Mr Posselt has been with council since 2010.
