Police are treating a fire that destroyed a Milton Barnett Street home in West Kempsey this morning, as suspicious.
Three fire crews responded to the blaze just before 6-o’clock, to find the home engulfed in flames.
The residents were not home at the time.
A Port Macquarie HAZMAT team worked through the day to remove asbestos from the property.
