High level representations to the Japanese Consul-General have been met with assurances for the welfare of Japanese exchange students who are on their way back to their shattered homeland.
Many in the group who were staying in the Hunter Valley still don’t know the fates of loved ones, and take with them the concerns of their Aussie host families.
