A Tamworth freight carrier has been named Australia’s ‘Small Carrier of the Year’, by supermarket giant Woolworths.
Carey’s Freight Lines was recently presented with the honour, chosen from among a group of 300 carriers from around country.
The award was created to promote the improvement of safety within the road transport industry.
Each day, at least 30 Carey’s trucks are on the road, transporting groceries and meat to Woolworths.
