Hundreds of people turned out at St Mary’s Anglican Church today, to farewell long-serving Ballina Shire councillor, John Felsch.
The 75-year-old died last month, after a short battle with cancer.
In front of family and friends, he was remembered as a hard worker who cared about his local community.
“Don’t cry because he’s gone, smile a bit because it happened and he was here. Smile a bit more because we, you and I, had the opportunity and the privilege to know John’s journey through his mortal life”
