A woman who was hit by a car and pushed 15 metres through a fence in a Wamberal car park yesterday remains in a critical-but-stable condition at Royal North Shore Hospital.
The 57-year-old was walking to her car just off The Entrance Road, when police say an 80-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle, hitting her and two other cars.
Police are investigating, but at this stage, the driver has not been charged.
