An 18 year old teen has surrendered into police custody, wanted over a jewellery store robbery last month.
Police will allege the New South Wales teen went into Love Lara’s at Treetops and tried on a gold bracelet, before running off with it.
The owner was hit by his getaway car as she gave chase.
Today the teen seemed more interested in his last slurpee than worrying about his future.
“He’s got good family support and we discussed the matter with him and decided this was the right thing to do.”
He’s expected to make a bail application tomorrow.
