A 49-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after being attacked with a small metal bar outside of Casino yesterday.
The attack allegedly occurred on a rural property at Terrace Creek at about 1pm.
The man has been treated at Lismore Base Hospital for a fractured left ankle and thumb and bruising down the left side of his body.
The accused will appear in Lismore Local Court today.
