Tributes are flowing for Grafton’s Tracey-Lee Schuhmacher, after she lost her lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
NBN News met the 23-year-old last year, ahead of her double lung transplant, but sadly her body rejected the lungs.
She died on Sunday night.
Tracey-Lee was an active campaigner for cystic fibrosis research and organ donation, and was known for always smiling.
She’ll be farewelled at Grafton’s Christ Church Cathedral next Tuesday and everyone is asked to wear purple or yellow in her honour.
