An Upper Coomera couple has scared off a would-be burglar overnight.
Home security cameras captured the man trying to break into the property, before running off when the residents arrived home.
Security companies say, the use of home systems is becoming more popular.
“They just want to feel a bit safe they’re starting to look at other options putting in CCTV cameras in to keep their house safe and security alarms as well.”
The vision was posted on Facebook to warn other residents in the area.
